Pantry pest beetles are pests that will infest dried goods. All pantry pests prefer different types of grains to infest—flour, dried beans, rice, pasta, seeds, cereal, and pet food are just a few of the common items infested by pantry bugs. Also known as “stored product pests”, pantry pests are a common issue for commercial properties in addition to homes. The most common pantry pests we deal with in here in Northern Utah include:
- Cigarette beetles
- Merchant grain beetles
- Confused flour beetles
- Rice weevils
- Saw-toothed grain beetles
- Powderpost beetles
- Indian meal moths
